Abstract
434,635. Resistance thermometers. BONWITT, W., 61, Starhemberggasse, Vienna. Nov. 27, 1934, No. 34056. Convention date, Dec. 1, 1933. [Class 97 (iii)] The measuring element 1 is carried on a thermally insulating tube 2, e.g. of ceramic material, conductors 9 pass through the interior of the tube 2 and apertures 7 to the element 1, and a layer of enamel 5 covers the element 1 and seals the apertures 7. The tube 2 is carried by a metal head 4 by which it may be mounted in the wall 3 of a tank. A substantial distance separates the head 4 and the beginning of the winding 1.
