434,031. Cylinders. VICKERS-ARMSTRONGS, Ltd., Vickers House, Broadway, Westminster, and RABBIDGE, W. F.. Southfield. Ulverston. Lancashire March 9, 1934 No. 7599. [Class 7 (ii)] A cover for a group of cylinders comprises flat top bottom and side plates B, A, C, J, welded together to form a box structure which may be strengthened by internal plates M, N, K. Valve parts and passages D may be steel castings or in the form of stampings made in halves and welded together. Tubes G, T are provided for bolts securing the cover to the engine columns and cylinder jackets respectively. Circulating water passes beneath a diaphragm R and through an orifice surrounding the liquid fuel injection device H to an outlet at the top.
