431,151. Adjusting wireless apparatus. COLE, Ltd., E. K., Priory Crescent, Southendon-Sea, BURTENSHAW, E. J., 12, Wenham Drive, Westcliff-on-Sea, and SPENCER, R. K., Hillcrest, Ennismore Gardens, Southendon-Sea. Jan. 15, 1934, No. 1388. [Class 37] In a radio receiving-set, a scale graduated in wave-lengths or frequency is adapted to have mounted thereon and readily removable therefrom one or more members bearing station names so positioned as to be at or near the corresponding wave-length marking. A plate 2 attached to the cabinet or chassis of a receiving set carries a scale 3 having graduations 3<a>, 3b. A ray of light at the back of the scale moves over the scale 3, which is translucent. Members 6, 8 of translucent material bearing station names are mounted over the scale 3 by means of bolts, press-studs, clips, &c. 7 so that they can readily be removed and replaced by other similar members with station names differently located so as to correspond with changed wavelengths. The scale 3 and member 6 may alternatively be of arcuate form. Specification 234,068, [Class 37], is referred to.
