Abstract

430,056. Dustpans. LEIGH, A. W., 2, Cremorne Road, Chelsea, London. Jan. 30, 1935, No. 15356. [Class 19] A dustpan is provided with a keenedged rubber strip 2, Fig. 2, at the front. The rubber may be mounted in a movable metal strip 1 with a raised back to retain dust in the pan. The metal strip is held in place by springs or other fastenings, but can be detached or sprung out of place for emptying the pan. In a modification, Fig. 4, the rubber strip 1 is grooved for attachment to the pan.
