429,500. Refrigerators. MUNTERS, C. G., 35, Strandvagen, Stockholm. Nov. 24, 1933, No. 13228/35. Divided out of 429,432 under which a Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, May 26, 1934. [Class 29] In a refrigerator cabinet having an insulating unit 2 of the type described in Specification 429,432 packing means are provided to prevent atmospheric air coming into contact with the thin metal sheet 5 that connects the shells 3 and 4 of the unit. The packing comprises a rubber strip 32 against which the unit is held by angle irons 33. Air is thus prevented from flowing from the space around the unit into the space within the unit. Packings 39 and 40 are also provided on the door of the unit to prevent air entering into the cabinet and leaking through the connections of the inner casing 14 of the cabinet into contact with the insulating unit 2. Specification 429,499 is referred to.
