[Class 12 (i)] [See also Group XXXI] A pedal-crank axle 4 of a cycle is mounted on inclined roller bearings 2, 3 provided with conical races 2<1>, 2<11>, 3<1>, 3<11>, the inner races 21 31 being secured against lateral movement, while the outer races 2<11>, 3<11> are independent of the crank-bracket sleeve 1 and are held laterally in position by dust-excluding caps 5, 6. For adjusting the bearings, the inner conical part 2<1> is in screw-threaded engagement with the axle 4, and is locked by means of a nut 8.
