J., 114, St. James' Street, Dublin, both in Irish Free State. Oct. 30, 1933, No. 30759/32. [Class 53] Storage battery electrodes pasted with lead oxides and sulphuric acid are allowed to dry and are then immersed in a solution of sodium hyposulphite until about 90 per cent of the lead sulphate present has been removed. The electrolyte is absorbed in wood pulp sheets which are placed between the electrodes which may be flat or tubular.
