Abstract
427,901. Thermionic valve circuits. ELECTRIC & MUSICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd., Blyth Road, Hayes, and PERCIVAL, W. S., 6, York Mansions, York Avenue, Hanwell, both in Middlesex. Nov. 3, 1933, No. 30625. Addition to 401,990. [Class 40 (v)] A valve 4 supplying saw-tooth waves to an output circuit has a resistance 12, 13 producing negative feed-back and of such value, and so connected, that the time period of the output circuit is substantially inversely proportional to the magnitude of the feed-back resistance. The product of the amplification factor of the valve and the value of the feedback resistance is much greater than the internal resistance of the valve. The resistance is in series with a scanning-coil 11 of a cathoderay tube in the anode circuit of the valve, and the end of the resistance remote from the cathode of the valve is connected to the controlling-grid of the valve.
