[Class 21] A pouring-device, e.g. for tinned milk, consists of a hollow china or porcelain body d elongated at its upper part to facilitate manipulation and having an oval base flanged at f and with an external recess to take a packing ring, a flat, triangular piercing plug c being anchored in the body so that the axis of the blade coincides with the transverse axis of the oval. Pouring and venting openings g<1>, g<2> are provided at opposite ends of the body. When the blade is forced through the cover and the device rotated, the shoulder of the blade forces upwards the edges of the hole in the cover so that the pourer is held tightly against the cover.
