Abstract
To form a thin sheet of dough of irregular section, for use in making a cereal biscuit, a mass of wheat berries is steamed or boiled and surface dried, and is then passed through a reducing machine comprising a pair of rolls spaced apart a few thousandths of an inch, one of the rolls being formed with circumferential and preferably continuous scoring or fine grooves.
