[Class 120 (iii)] A paper tube is prepared by taking a blank 1 of relatively soft and flexible paper, treating the same with an adhesive and stiffening means, e.g. a starch paste, except that part B which will ultimately become the outer and thread-receiving surface of the tube, and then winding such blank upon itself.
