[Class 132 (ii)] [See also Group XVIII] Games apparatus comprises a board oscillatably supported in a casing and controlled from outside the casing to cause balls to run into apertures in the board, the bottoms of the apertures being normally closed by a member which can be moved to release balls contained in the apertures, such balls then passing to a device which can lift them on to the board. The playing board 5 has a surround 6 and is situated beneath a glass plate 2. The board is provided with apertures into which balls are rolled by tilting the board. The apertures are normally closed at the bottom by a plate 7 having apertures which, when the plate is moved relatively to the board allow the balls to fall through on to an incline 9. The plate 7 is moved by turning a knob 29 and coin-freed shaft 27 acting through levers 31, 33. The balls pass individually from the incline 9 into a cup 12 secured to an arm 13 rotated by a knob 15 to bring the cup above the playing board. The board can be tilted in any direction by a handle 49 pivoted to a rod 48 having a head 46 engaging a tube 45 secured to a hemispherical projection 40 on the bottom of the board. The projection 40 is supported by four balls 41. In modifications, the board may be rocked by a plurality of electromagnets, one beneath each corner of the board, the score may be indicated electrically by circuits closed by the balls passing into the holes in the board, and the said circuits may be arranged to release or deliver a prize. Coin action, weight.-The shaft 27 is released by inserting a coin in a slot 18, the coin passing down a shoot 19 and depressing a lever 21 pivoted at 22, a pawl 23 thus being removed from a ratchet wheel 25 on the shaft 27.
