Abstract
419,850. Stoppers for bottles. DONADON, G., CARDINO, M., and BERIO, A., 36, Via XX Settembre, Genoa, Italy. March 2, 1934, No. 6772. Convention date, Oct. 27, 1933. [Class 125 (iii).] A stopper for bottles &c. comprises an elastic ball 4 carried on resilient arms 3 which are secured to the neck of the bottle by a sleeve 2. The sleeve may be integral with the arms 3 and long enough to hold in position by friction. Alternatively a ring may be provided which engages a projection on the bottle neck. The arms 3 may be springs and the ball 4 may have a diametrical hole through which a connection passes for the ends of the arms.
