Abstract

418,180. Trimming wallpaper &c. PARKIN, J., 117, Clerkenwell Road, London. April 14, 1934, No. 11263. [Class 31 (ii).] In a device for trimming wallpaper and the like of the type having a pair of cutter rollers mounted at the like ends of parallel spindles which slidably support a block carrying a guide to direct the paper to the cutter rollers, the guide 7 is mounted on a shank 9 adapted to enter a slot 11 in said block and to be removably secured in place by a finger-operated nut 12, the shank 9 being held against rotation by a pin which engages a slot in the block on the side opposite to the nut 12. The spindles 1 are screwed into the plate 2 and secured by nuts 3 to allow adjustment of the cutters to ensure correct interengagement. The block may be set in any position on the spindles by means of a screw 15 to vary the width of paper trimmed off.
