418,010. Electric hot-plates. NEEDHAM, W., Cartmel, Broadoaks Road, Sale, Cheshire, and ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London. May 22, 1933, No. 14772. [Class 39 (iii).] A heating-unit for a cooking-stove comprises a structure 6, adapted to be secured to the stove and a frame 11 carrying a heating element 1 forming a hot plate and the frame is supported by the structure 6 through the medium of levelling screws 8 adjustable from above and is rigidly clamped to the structure by at least one tension member, which may comprise a central screw 13, also adjustable from above. The element 1 may be hinged to a pan reflector 5 as described in Specification 363,774 or may be hinged to the frame and provided with a loose reflector as described in Specification 415,107.
