Abstract
417,114. Nonconducting coverings for heat. MUNTERS, C. G., 75, Linnegatan, Stockholm. Feb. 23, 1933, No. 19022/34. Convention date, Feb. 26, 1932. Divided out of 415,457 and addition to 399,503. [Class 64 (ii).] The sheets or foils sub-dividing a gas-filled heat insulation unit according to the parent Specification are relatively spaced at a distance of less than 1 cm. apart and preferably at 5 mm. or less. The unit may be constructed as described in Specification 415,457. Another construction is described in which the sheets or foils are spaced apart by washers or ring elements 40 fitted around pins 41 composed of the substance known under the Registered Trade Mark "Bakelite," the outside plates being fastened to the pins by screws 42. In this unit the gas may be at a slight pressure above atmospheric.
