416,620. Spring mattresses. MULLER, L., 27, Sturmvogelstrasse, Johannisthal, Berlin. Nov. 24, 1933, No. 32934. [Class 52 (iv).] In a spring surface wherein laths a are secured to side members b by a pin and slot connection, so that after a limited deflection the laths are in tension, the side members are capable of flexure so as to distribute the load to the undeflected laths. The side members may be wooden or metal bars or tubes or of a chain link or cable structure and the laths can be single or multiple leaf.
