Abstract

415,352. Ironing-machines. HASSE, W., 12, Friesickestrasse, Weissensee, Berlin. March 29, 1934, No. 9903. [Class 138 (ii).] The rotary iron 14 of an ironing-machine, the motor 10 and transmission gear 11 are suspended from a rod 9 which is adjustably carried by a wheel running along a track in a swinging bracket 6. The device may be raised and lowered by means of an eccentric 21 and a work-engaging ring 13 secured to the guiding handle 12 is movable relatively to the iron so that when it is lowered into contact with the work on the table 1 creasing of the work due to the rotating iron is prevented.
