Abstract

413,028. Wind-motors. HANNAN, L. V., and HANNAN BROS., Ltd., 58, Flinders Street, Adelaide, Australia. Jan. 23, 1933, No. 2115. [Class 110 (iii).] A two - blade wind-wheel 1 drives directly an electric generator 7 which is mounted to one side of a pivoted head 11. The head carries also a pivoted wind-vane 10 the relative movement of which is limited by a spring 20 and a stop finger 19. The vane 10 is fixed in slotted tubular arms 16. One terminal of the generator is connected by a lead 23 and a special joint in the head 11 to a cable 28, and the other terminal is connected to the head 11, the supporting post 9 being connected to a second cable 34.
