Abstract

412,199. Cartons &c. PROCTER, H. A., Allestree, The Drive, Sidcup, Kent, and BATCHELOR, G. H. R., 57, Gracechurch Street, London. Dec. 20, 1932, No. 36076. [Classes 66 and 125 (iii).] The mouth of a paper or like carton or similar receptacle for milk &c., of circular cross-sectional form is provided with a metal or other mount ring c of #-section which is secured in position over the end of the carton body by the formation in either or both of the outer or inner skirt-portions of indentations e of helical contour adapted for engagement by correspondingly threaded portions f of cap or plug closures g. The end of the carton body to which the mount is applied may be doubled over upon itself either inwardly or outwardly.
