[Class 86.] A device for mixing and cooling beverages comprises a jacketed cylindrical container a in which is mounted an oscillating shaft f carrying a beater which has a curved cross section and is provided with elongated, staggered holes g, the edges h of which are turned outwards. The beater is operated by hand or machine and the container is fitted with filling and emptying cocks, and with a gas supply for aerating the contents.
