Abstract
410,293. Marine light buoys. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP MACHINERIEEN-EN APPARATEN FABRIEKEN, 30, Croeselaan, Utrecht, Holland. March 2, 1933, No. 6422. Convention date, April 1, 1932. [Class 75 (iv).] In a marine light buoy propane, butane, or a like gaseous fuel of low vapour pressure characteristic is stored in liquid form in a sea-immersed portion 3 of the body 1 of the buoy, the part 3 being sub-divided vertically by interesecting transverse perforated partitions 4 to prevent surging of the fuel. The working gas pressure within the buoy is about nine atmospheres and the scantlings of the body are constructed to withstand a maximum internal pressure of about fifteen atmospheres. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 also states that the liquid fuel may be stored in a separate container fitted into the body or into the tail pipe 2, or the transport flasks may be arranged in pockets in the body, the scantlings of the body being constructed to withstand a maximum internal pressure of thirty-five atmospheres. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
