Abstract
409,060. Shears. LEE, A. E., 40, Blenheim Gardens, Wembley Park, Middlesex. Nov. 28, 1932, No. 33608. [Class 30.] The blades 1 are made with a polygonal shank 2 at an angle. A corresponding socket 4, also at an angle to its shaft 8, is fitted into the handles 3. The handles may therefore be adjusted in relation to the blades according to the use required. The ends of the shanks are threaded to take clamping-nuts. Alternatively, the shank 2 and socket 4 may be reversed, the shank carrying the socket piece.
