Abstract
405,013. Pouring-device for bottles &c. BAILEY, E. F., 9, South Side, Clapham Common, London. July 27, 1932, No. 21210. [Classes 125 (i) and 125 (iii).] A pouring and drip-retaining device for sauce bottles &c. comprises an outer tube a held to the bottle neck, e.g. by spring fingers b and an adjustable band d, an inner tube or pourer k normally depending into the bottle neck and a lid o, hinged at r, covering the outer tube a, and adapted to be raised by a lever p, v connected to the pourer by a bend z whereby the act of raising the lid advances the pourer and enables the bottle contents to be poured out. The lid is preferably spring-pressed at s. The device, which is preferably non-corrodable, may be made of metal, synthetic resins, &c.
