Class 52 (ii).] In a chair with an adjustable back rest with arm rests a pivoted thereto, notches bare formed in the under side of the arm rests which engage with pins e, Fig. 3, carried by the upper ends of the front legs f, and the free ends d of the pins are bent to U-shape and enter longitudinal grooves c in the arm rests. The arms are thus prevented from being entirely disengaged from the front legs.
