[Class 81 (ii).] A thigh shield for use in conjunction with a catamenial ap - pliance comprises a substantially halfelliptical piece 1 of waterproof sheet material with three points of attachment to available garments. In the preferred form a band 6 attached to one upper corner 7 is passed round the thigh and through a loop 5 situated at the other upper corner, the free end 8 being connected to a belt. A clip 12 on the lower edge is attached to the stocking.
