Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Feb. 13, 1932]. [Class 80 (ii).] In a flexible shaft - coupling wherein an elongated rubber sleeve 14 effects a frictional driving bond between an outer member 12 and a longitudinally - curved inner one 13, the inner element is formed of a sheet metal sleeve 13 spun or stamped, and arc-welded at both ends 17 to a metal sleeve 16 splined on one of the shafts 11. The space 21 between the sleeves 13, 16 serves as a reservoir for lubricant introduced through a fitting 19 and holes 20, 18 to lubricate the splines. The sleeve 16 has a sealing cap 22.
