Abstract
401,493. Electric resistance ovens. WILD, L. W., and WILD-BARFIELD ELECTRIC FURNACES, Ltd., North Road, Holloway, London. Nov. 11, 1932, No. 31962. Addition to 334,621, [Class 39 (iii), Heating by electricity]. [Class 39 (iii).] In an oven having an internal fan of the centrifugal type whereby air is collected axially by the fan and projected horizontally outwards against the oven walls, the fan includes a plate 10 adjacent the blades 8 and the fan delivery is free or substantially free in all radial directions. A guiding ring 9 leads the air from the basket to the centre of the fan. The central parts of the fan blades are tapered towards the plate as they approach the centre of the fan.
