Abstract

400,957. Flywheels. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London, and MAGGS, A. H., The Briars, Wellsway, Keynsham, near Bristol. May 2, 1932, No. 12613. [Class 122 (i).] A mass 4 is supported on a shaft 1 by springs 3 so proportioned that the mass oscillates relatively to the shaft at a frequency substantially equal to the frequency of vibration of the shaft. Specification 357,475, [Group XXXV], is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 23393/00 and 15680/01, [both in Class 122, Steam-engines].
