[Class 52 (i).] A sliding door or shutter for a sideboard, wardrobe, cupboard, bureau, gramophone, or wireless or other cabinet or like article is yieldingly supported at its edges ; normally the door a, which is supported on a framing c, fills the opening in the panel b, and is kept there by springs d. It is depressed to free it from the frame and may then be slid free of the opening. Runners f prevent the door from being scratched as it slides under the " panel b. In a modification, spiral springs are used, and support a track on which the framing c slides.
