Abstract
398,438. Type-bar-making machines. TYPOGRAPH GES., 17, Huttenstrasse, Berlin. March 29, 1933, No. 9474. Convention date, Sept. 24, 1932. [Class 100 iii).] Keyboards.-In keyboard-mechanism of the kind comprising levers 3 carrying eccentrically mounted discs 8, which co-operate with a rotating roller 9, means is provided for locking the levers 3 without locking the keys. The levers 3 are pivoted at their middle points, and are connected at one end by members 4 to the matrix-releasing devices. The other ends of the levers rest on projections 6 connected to the keys 5. The levers 3 can be locked by an eccentrically mounted bar 12, so that the keys can be depressed without operating the matrixreleasing devices.
