Abstract
398,078. Displaying. GWYER, A. H., 163, Queen Victoria Street, London. Jan. 4, 1933, No. 319. [Class 3 (ii).] A display stand comprises a flat base provided with a pair of parallel slits through which are passed from the rear the front edges of a pair of triangular struts so as to be pivotable in the slits for collapsing, the said edges of the struts being notched, stepped, serrated or otherwise formed to support packages &c. As shown, the stand comprises a base 1 which is supported by struts 2 provided with teeth 3 projecting through a pair of slits in the base 1. The struts are secured to the base by hinges 6 so as to be foldable flat against the base, the teeth pivoting in the slits to lie flat against the front of the base. The stand is braced by a member 7 which is hinged to each strut and provided with a part 8 hinged to one of its longitudinal edges, preferably the upper one, which when folded at right-angles to the member 7 presses against the base 1.
