Abstract

395,578. Rontgen-ray apparatus. I. G. FARBENINDUSTRIE AKT.-GES., Frankfort-on-Main, Germany. Dec. 5, 1932, No. 34406. Convention date, Dec. 3, 1931. [Class 98 (i).] In apparatus for radioscopic examination, two or more fluorescent screens producing fluorescence of different colours are arranged so as to be movable manually or mechanically into operative position in turn. The screens may be composed of, for example, zinc silicate, zinc sulphide or barium platinocyanide or a mixture of these for one screen, and calcium or cadmium tungstate or a mixture of these for the other. A pair of screens may be mounted on a freely pivoted arm so as to be movable into operative position by hand. In the form shown, four screens producing blue, yellow, red and green fluorescence form an endless band F, inside which the r÷ntgen tube I and object H are arranged.
