395,278. Pliers. SCHEBEKO, A. DE, 1940, Lincoln Avenue, Chicago, U.S.A. Jan. 27, 1933, No. 2657. Convention date, Jan. 27, 1932. [Class 61 (ii) Spring-grip pliers comprise a pair of jaw members connected together by a central pivot 21 and a spring device 27 movable to either side or centrally of the pivot to enable the closing action of the spring to be exerted on the flat jaws 12, 14 at one end of the jaw members for gripping flat articles such as leaf springs or on the jaws 13, 16 at the other end with recesses 29 for gripping screws, pins, &c. The spring device 27 comprises a pair of coil springs connected to cross pins 23, 24 adapted to engage notches 28 in the jaw members.
