395,141. Driving dynamos. FAIREY AVIATION CO., Ltd., Cranford Lane, Hayes, Middlesex, FORSYTH, A. G., Venlow, Burdon Lane, Cheam, Surrey; and PERT, G. J., SMITHSelsey, Wood Ride, Haywards Heath, Sussex. June 8, 1932, No. 16202. [Class 35.] An aircraft dynamo in which the field magnet and armature may rotate in opposite directions is mounted on the front of the air-screw hub. In the form shown, the field magnet of the dynamo a rotates with the front plate b of the hub c which is keyed to a hollow shaft e carrying gear teeth p to drive the armature pinion j through an idle pinion k mounted eccentrically on a hollow shaft m fixed to the engine frame. The dynamo may be enclosed by a nose cap h which may be provided with louvres.
