Convention date, Feb. 20, 1932. [Class 74 (ii).] The thread-guide boxes 9, carrying the guides 15, are reciprocated upon the guide bars by pins 5, 6 mounted in a support 4 on the carriage 1. The pins 5, 6 are vertically movable in the support 4 and are lowered into engagement with the boxes 9 by members 16. The members 16 are lowered by slides 26 connected by Bowden wires 27 .. 34 to the control levers 35 .. 42 of patterning mechanism 43, and are raised by springs 46. The slides 26 are disposed at an angle to the members 16 so that the wires 27 .. 34 have to be bent as little as possible.
