[Class 71.] A multiple nozzle injector for producing a suction effect comprises a casing having lateral inlets a, b for steam disposed in series, a lateral suction branch c, nozzles f, g in tandem, and a conical valve e with a valve-controlled interior passage d, controlling the nozzle f. On opening the valve controlling the passage d, a suction effect is produced. This is augmented by opening the valve e and further augmented by opening the valve controlling the passage b.
