[Class 120 (ii).] The adjustable swift of the parent Specification is modified by replacing the locking nut with a pair of radially corrugated friction discs b, g pressed together by a spring c. To adjust the circumference of the swift, the two end pieces are relatively rotated with a force sufficient to overcome the pressure exerted by the spring c on the discs b, g. The pressure exerted by the spring is adjustable by moving the nuts e, f.
