Abstract
392,066. Cams ; toggles. IGRANIC ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., 147, Queen Victoria Street, London, and HUNTER, R. B., Shorewood, Wisconsin, U.S.A. Oct. 13, 1932, No. 28590. Addition to 380,444, [Group XXX]. [Class 80 (iii).] An elevator cam 2 is supported from a plate 50, secured to the cage, by toggles 59, 60, and is retracted from its projected position, in which it is normally held by a spring 57, by a chain 73 actuated by a motor 70. The chain is wound on a lug 76 which is mounted between a pair of plates 75 on a crank 72 on the motor shaft and shaped so as to maintain a substantially constant load on the motor during the retraction of the cam.
