Abstract

391,538. Conveyer rollers. FISHER & LUDLOW, Ltd. and LUDLOW, N. B., Albion Works, Rea Street, Birmingham. Jan. 1, 1932, No. 30. [Classes 12 (i) and 12 (ii).] The end discs 5 of a conveyer roller 4 have in a recess on the inner side a ball, roller, or like bearing 12 and a cup-shaped cap 14. The latter forms a grease chamber and the peripheral edge thereof enters a groove 13 in the disc 5 and is retained therein by punched-out projections 16. The cap 14 is charged with grease through a ball valve 20 and passages 17, 18 in the shaft 8.
