Abstract
389,955. Tables. JESSON, G. A. T., Endsley Works, and LEIGH, P., Folly Lane, both in Swinton, Lancashire. Jan. 30, 1932, No. 2818 and 10062. [Class 52 (iii).] In a folding table, the legs are hinged to a lower shelf, and one pair of legs is hinged to the underside of the top. The Figure shows a table comprising a top A, legs B hinged to itsunderside, a lower shelf C hinged to the legs B, and legs B<1> hinged to the shelf C. In the upright position the leg rail bl is connected tothe part a of the top A by a catch a<1> and slot b<2>, and in the folded position a turn button passes through a slot b<3> in the shelf C and is turned to secure it. Stays c, pivoted to the legs c', slide through eyelets c<1> as the table is folded up.
