389,680. Seats. BRIGGS MANUFACTURING CO., 11631, Mack Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A.-(Assignees of Ball, A. P. ; 3574, Mckinley Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A.) May 26, 1932, No. 14990. Convention date, June 1, 1931. [Class 52 (ii).] A chair frame, formed of metal stock, and wherein the seat and leg portions C, Bare joined by resilient coils 16, is provided with arm-rest portions 18 which project from the leg portions and have spring coils 21 in their length. When constructed, as shown in Fig. 2, the seat, back, and arm-rest portions all oscillate about a common centre formed by the spring coils 16, 21. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also a construction, shown in Fig. 5, wherein no arm-rest portions are provided. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
