Abstract
388,855. Bird cages. HYGIENIC WIRE WORKS, Ltd. and WEBSTER, E. G., 42, Haymerle Road, London. Oct. 23, 1931, No. 29443. [Class 5 (ii).] In a bird cage or other similar structure of the " sunrise type, in which wire bars B radiate from two plates A<1>, A<2> between which said bars are secured, a series of exteriorly disposed, pocket-ended recesses A<3>, A<4> are formed in the borders of the plates A<1>, A<2>, such recesses forming opposed depressions in the two plates, which depressions contact and are secured together ; the parts A<5>, A<6> outstanding between the recesses form opposed corrugations adapted to receive the wire bars B between them, and the central parts A<7>, A<8> of the plates within said borders are spaced apart to receive the inner ends of the wire bars B. The bars B are secured to the plate A<2> by soldering, and at their opposite ends pass through holes in the interior face of the member C.
