Abstract

387,446. Pouring-stoppers for bottles. COSTELLO, J. A., 2, Glebe Crescent, Hendon, London. Nov. 19, 1931, No. 32107. [Class 125 (iii).] An ordinary insertable bottle stopper is provided with a constrictable elastic pouring vent 4 and a thumb-screw 6, for opening and closing such vent. The stopper is for use with a bottle containing an aerated beverage, the liquid being dispensed under its own gas pressure and without entry of air. A pouring tube may extend upwardly from the stopper. According to the Provisional Specification the opening and closing means may comprise a perforated rotary cap mounted on the stopper.
