Abstract
386,445. Sealing. DOWSING RADIANT HEAT CO., Ltd., 91, Baker Street, and STEELE, F. M., 37, Coval Road, East Sheen, both in London. Jan. 20, 1932, No. 1760. [Class 146 (ii).] A device for melting sealing-wax comprises a portable casing a with a depending metal nose e containing an electric heating element, and having flat sides against which the wax can be pressed. The nose is so shaped with vertical sides b and a sharp point m that superfluous wax will tend to run down and drip off the point. The casing is provided with a detachable cover b, and is adapted to be secured to a wall, and carries a switch t, a pilot lamp q, and plug terminals. A drawer for sticks of sealing-wax may be attached under the casing.
