Abstract

383,281. Paper &c. cartons and bags. NORTH BRITISH RUBBER CO., Ltd. and JOHNSTON; A., Castle Mills, Edinburgh. July 31, 1931, No. 21907. [Classes 18 and 94 (ii).] In a collapsable carton or bag made from a one-piece blank providing a single partition member and a closure member the partition member is arranged to assume an oblique position when the carton or bag is erected and divide the latter into two compartments each adapted to accommodate one of a pair of equal-sized articles. In the carton shown in Fig. 3, the partition member c extends from the front panel e overlying a pair of interlocked flaps extending from the ends a of the carton and in the bag shown in Fig. 5, the partition p extends from one of the end panels r of the bag. Specifications 162,362, 173,331, and 297,303, [all in Class 18, Boxes &c.], are referred to.
