Abstract
383,158. Rolling coagulated latex &c. SAVEGE, E. W., 118, Ampang Road, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Federated Malay States. March 31, 1932, No. 9270. [Class 87 (ii).] A machine for rolling coagulated latex &c. comprises three rollers 1, 2, 3 arranged to form two rolling surfaces adapted to perform two successive stages of rolling in one continuous operation, one or more of the rollers being mounted in eccentric bearings whereby the roll pass may be adjusted. The rollers are intergeared and in the machine shown the shafts for the rollers 1, 2 are eccentrically mounted in circular housings 17, 18 which may be independently rotated by pinion and spur gears controlled by hand shafts in order to vary the pass adjustment. A guide 26 may be mounted between the rollers 1, 3.
