Abstract

380,197. Driving-pulleys. TOMLIN. SON, H., BLOMLEY, F., and TWEEDALES & SMALLEY (1920), Ltd., Globe Works, Castleton, near Manchester. July 11, 1931, No. 19975. [Class 80 (i).] Pulleys, such as jockey-pulleys for use in spinning, doubling, &c. machines are built up of two discs A, A<1> flanged to form the rim and spaced centrally by the enlarged centre of the bush B, which is a driving fit on the spindle C. The discs are gripped between washers D, the ends of the bush being spun, riveted, or pressed over the washers to clamp the whole in position and to tighten the bush on the spindle. The washers may be countersunk into the discs.
