378,841. Mixing &c. machines. HENKEL, A., Windsor House, Victoria Street, London. May 12, 1932, No. 13693. Convention date, Feb. 20. [Class 86.] In a stirring machine having a tiltable container in which are stirring arms on rotatable, coaxial, vertical shafts, the driving gear is arranged below the container. The stirrers are mounted on a shaft i and coaxial sleeve j, passing through the bottom of the jacketed container a, and driven in opposite directions by bevel gear from a shaft o fitted with a clutch p. The container is tilted by a worm f, after a locking bolt s is retracted by a lever r, which also operates the clutch.
