373,493. Indoor games. FAIRFIELD, S., 10, Impasse de la Montjoie la Plaine, St-Denis, Seine, France. Aug. 17, 1931, No. 23113. Convention date, Nov. 20, 1930. [Class 132 (ii).] A mechanical figure for use in playing golf on a miniature course comprises a club 19 carried by a spindle 4 and adapted to be retracted manually, against the action of a spring 6, to a variable extent and to be held in retracted position by a pawl and ratchet 8 until released by depression of a trigger 5. The carrier 1 for the club spindle 4 is supported on a pair of legs by a universal joint 21, each leg being formed in two parts 24, 28 connected to each other and to feet 32 by universal joints 25, 29, repectively. The universal joints are or ball type and are lockable by screws 23.
